Tarn McLean is a doctor of Philosophy (Fine Art), and founded the fabric and accessories label Ocre Designs in 2008. Her artwork is grounded in colour observation inspired by architecture, fashion, nature and botanical paintings created by her Great, great grandfather Adam Forster which are now held in the Australian National Library. Her botanical paintings are fine art ‘studies’ that create inspiration for Ocre Designs fabrics and wallpaper collections.
